Can I just tell you how much I love Michael’s? I just love everything about that store. I get my yarn, my crafts, and I spend a small fortune every time.
So a while back, we painted fall pumpkins! This is just so simple to make! Here is what you need:
Paint
Wooden pumpkins
Paintbrushes, tools, etc.
Great music because you’ll always need great music!
Cost of said activity – it really depends on how much you spend on the paint, since that’s the most expensive purchase. This cost me around $40, but I also used more expensive paint. I think any type of paint would do, honestly.
I looked up fall colors and was surprised blue was considered one. Then I thought about how a dark blue would be a fall color and it was rather perfect. I’m sad to say we didn’t even use blue to paint our pumpkins! Next time!
Bear chose me and Maks to paint the pumpkins while he took on the acorn. We painted outside and let dry overnight. We were going to use glitter and a setting spray but they seemed to be okay as is!
We did do a neat trick – we did mix the orange, yellow, and red colors for a little razzle dazzle! We also mixed the green and brown for a bit more pizzaz!
